Klawervlei Stud’s four-time G1 winning sire, and former European champion, TWICE OVER (Observatory) looks to have a very promising daughter in the form of DUPLICITY.

The latter made it back to back wins when she scored a fluent win at Kenilworth on Monday afternoon, with three-year-old Duplicity having shed her maiden impressively on her penultimate start.

Under Greg Cheyne, the Drakenstein Stud bred and owned three-year-old powered home in Monday’s race to score by a convincing half a length, despite not being best suited by a muddling pace.

The promising Candice Bass-Robinson trained filly has now finished first or second in four of her five starts to date, and looks progressive.

Out of a daughter of MONTJEU (Sadler’s Wells), Duplicity is bred on a similar Twice Over/Sadler’s Wells cross to the sire’s dual G1 Vodacom Durban July winning son DO IT AGAIN.

European Champion Twice Over, whose progeny also include G1 winning two-year-old SAND AND SEA, four time graded stakes winner DOUBLEMINT and R3 million plus earner INVIDIA, is well represented on both Sunday’s Cape Yearling Sale as well as the upcoming Cape Premier Yearling Sale.

Twice Over has ten lots on the Cape Yearling Sale, and a further 11 lots on the Cape Premier Yearling Sale.
