Klawervlei Stud’s four-time G1 winning stallion TWICE OVER (Observatory) has been in fine form of late, and the European champion came up with yet another eye-catching winner at Turffontein on Saturday.

Twice Over’s three-year-old daughter NO TIME IS TAKEN made the perfect start to her racing career when she made a winning debut on Saturday.

Under Warren Kennedy, the Paul Peter trained filly was always up with the pace in Saturday’s Welcome To Turffontein Maiden Plate (F&M) (1200m), and when Kennedy asked the question, the filly stayed on to justify tote favouritism with a one and three-quarter length win.

Bred by Dr Kritzinger, No Time Is Taken races for her owner Mr Vasan Harry.

She was one of three South African winners over the past weekend for Twice Over, with the latter’s exciting son SENSO UNICO scoring an impressive win at Durbanville on Saturday, and another son of Twice Over, ZIG ZAG, winning at Fairview the previous day.

Bred by Alec Foster, the Vaughan Marshall trained Senso Unico made it back to back wins, and two wins from just four starts, when he romped home to a one and a quarter length win over 1800m on Saturday.

The three-year-old races for Alec and Gillian Foster and he looks to have a very bright future ahead of him!

Trainer Cliffie Miller also enjoyed success with a son of Twice Over, when he sent out the Hollywood Syndicate owned Zig Zag to score at Fairview on Friday. Bred by Maine Chance Farms, Zig Zag was winning for the third time in his career when he won over 1600m at Fairview.

Closely related to hot young British sire TIME TEST, Twice Over (who is also the sire of smart recent winner LION OF THE DESERT) has nine lots on the upcoming CTS Ready To Run Sale, and a further two lots on the November Two-Year-Old Sale.
