Klawervlei Stud’s proven G1 sire and former champion sprinter CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) has been in tremendous form of late, and he came up with his third winner in the past three days when his son CAPTAIN HINDSIGHT won at the Vaal on Thursday.
Trained by Ashley Fortune, and ridden to victory by Calvin Habib, Captain Hindsight came with a late rattle to claim Thursday’s seventh race by a neck going away. The Klawervlei Stud bred gelding, who races for M & G Advisory Services (Pty) Ltd & Andrew Fortune, has now won six times for earnings of nearly R600 000.
His triple G1 winning sire Captain Of All has also enjoyed success at both Hollywoodbets Greyville and Kenilworth this, with Captain Of All mare LADY LEGEND winning over 1400m at Greyville on Wednesday and Captain Of All’s three-year-old son CAPTAIN MIKE getting off the mark when victorious at Kenilworth on Tuesday.
