The Klawervlei Stud based champion CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) had another good day on Thursday when the former sprint champion came up with two more winners at Turffontein.

Captain Of All struck first on Thursday in the third race, when his three-year-old son CAPTAIN PERSIA ran out a game winner of the www.highveldracing.co.za Maiden Plate (1200m).

Under Keagan De Melo, the Johan Janse Van Vuuren trained gelding hit the front someway from home and kept going on gamely to win by a head.

It was a great result for Captain Of All, whose two-year-old son LOVE ME AGAIN made a cracking debut to finish second to his paternal half-brother Captain Persia.

Bred by Klawervlei Stud, Captain Persia races for Mr and Mrs Breitenbach.

Captain Of All is also sire of the smart filly FROMHERETOETERNITY, who showed huge courage when winning Thursday’s seventh race, the TAB Telebet 0861 000 822 FM 95 Divided Handicap (1600m).

The Paul Peter trained four-year-old was given a well judged ride by Gabriell Pieterse, who got his mount’s head down where it mattered most and win by a long neck.

Bred by David Allan, Fromheretoeternity has now won seven times for earnings of more than R400 000. The talented filly races for the Hyperpaint Syndicate.
