Klawervlei Stud’s bang inform resident sire WILLIAM LONGSWORD, fresh off another recent double, was again in the news at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday.
His progressive daughter LET IT SNOW made it three wins in a row when she ran out an easy winner of the eighth and final race on the Greyville card.
Under Calvin Habib, the Wendy Whitehead trained filly pulled away in the closing stages of Monday’s 1600m contest to score a shade cosily by just over a length. Bred by Pippa Mickleburgh, Let It Snow (a winner of three of four starts on the polytrack) races for Itssa It & Business Solutions (Pty) Ltd.
Her G1 Cape Guineas winning sire WILLIAM LONGSWORD has been in fine form this season, with his recent winners including the smart looking MELECH, the hugely talented DYCE, and debut winner SHIPHOLIA.
One of the very best sons of outstanding sire CAPTAIN AL (Al Mufti), William Longsword is currently above the likes of RAFEEF (Redoute’s Choice), DYNASTY (Fort Wood) and FUTURA (Dynasty) on the General Sires List for 2022-2023.
