Klawervlei Stud’s resident sire, and former champion sprinter, CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) has enjoyed a wonderful few days this week. Not only did Captain Of All gelding CAPTAIN ROCKET win a good race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Wednesday, the stallion’s exciting two-year-old JERUSALEMA RAIN impressed when winning at Turffontein the following day, before Captain Of All struck yet again when supplying a pair of winners at Fairview on Friday.

His Sharon Kotzen trained son CAPTAIN CASANOVA duly justified favouritism when he romped home to a clear-cut maiden win on Friday. Under Louis Mxothwa, the gelded three-year-old put daylight between himself and his rivals when running out a one and a half length winner of Friday’s 1000m contest. Bred by Prosper Stud, Captain Casanova was making his Fairview debut on Friday, with the three-year-old having previously recorded a pair of runner up finishes at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He races for Messrs de Wet, Grobbelaar and Spies.

Captain Of All also struck with a two-year-old on Friday, when his juvenile daughter VANDALISE justified 4-10 tote favouritism when winning in open company.
Representing the scintillating combination of Alan Greeff and Richard Fourie, Vandalise turned Friday’s 1200m maiden plate into a one horse race as she ran out a clear-cut two and a quarter length winner.

Bred by the Tawny Syndicate, Vandalise races for Messrs Blank, Piha and D & H N Yutar.
