Klawervlei Stud’s four time G1 winning stallion TWICE OVER (Observatory) has made a fine start to the new racing season and he came up with another good winner when his daughter FALLO ANCORA won at Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Tuesday.

Bred by Normandy Stud, who race her under Normandy Racing, Fallo Ancora had broken her maiden last time out, and confirmed the merit of that win when landing Tuesday’s RaceCape Powered by Hollywoodbets Cape C Stakes (1800m). Under an inform Grant Van Niekerk (who booted home four winners on Tuesday), Fallo Ancora pulled out more in the closing stages to hold off a fast finishing PEUT ETRE MOI (Master Of My Fate) and score by a long neck. The race was a triumph for Twice Over, who also supplied third place finisher TWICE THE MASTER.

The consistent Fallo Ancora has now won or finished third or fourth in each of her last five outings.

Fresh off supplying a double over the weekend, Twice Over is currently third on the General Sires List for the current season.

His star son SEE IT AGAIN, winner of both the G1 Splashout Cape Derby and G1 Daily News 2000 last season, has been nominated for several Cape Breeders Awards including those for Champion 3YO Colt and Champion Middle Distance Horse.
