Klawervlei Stud’s well performed sire ROYAL MO (Uncle Mo) looks to have a well above average son to his name in the form of RULE OF THUMB.
The latter made it back-to-back wins when running out a convincing winner of the sixth race run at Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday afternoon.

Under Craig Bantam, the Justin Snaith trained Rule Of Thumb hit the front some way from home in Wednesday’s Cape Racing Sales Class 4 (1600m) to score by a length and a quarter. It was a remarkable performance by Rule Of Thumb, whose connections had earlier been advised to put him down. Bred by Klawervlei Stud, the Andrew Brand and Jonathan Snaith owned Rule Of Thumb was winning for a third time overall.

Royal Mo went close to having a double on Wednesday with his daughter DONNA MO finishing third in the fifth race at Durbanville.

His outstanding sire UNCLE MO (Indian Charlie) has more than made his mark at this week’s Keeneland September Yearling Sale. Yearlings by Uncle Mo made up to $2 000 000 in the first session of this year’s September Sale.
