Klawervlein’s inform stallion CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) had a good double at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Wednesday, with the former sprint champion’s son IBHELE winning the first race on the card and another son LUNARCAM victorious in the seventh race on the card. The multiple G1 winner went close to having a treble on Wednesday, with Captain Of All filly RED ROSES TOO finishing a close up third in the eighth race at Scottsville.

Promising two-year-old IBHELE made the perfect start to his racing career when he captured the Gold Circle Maiden Juvenile Plate (800m) for Louis Goose and Chase Maujean.

Showing tremendous heart, the gelded son of Captain Of All dug down deep to make a winning debut by three parts of a length.

Bred by the Late David Allan, Ibhele races for Messrs P M Chetty, R Chetty, L W Goosen & L G Seja.

Captain Of All is also the sire of the smart performer LUNARCAM, who stayed on gamely to dead-heat for first place in Wednesday’s Gold Circle Racing Youtube Channel MR 88 Handicap over 1000 metres. The race was a triumph for Klawervlei, with the dead-heaters Lunarcam and KUPHOLIWE sired by Captain Of All and William Longsword respectively.

Trained by Stuart Ferrie,  the Ridgemont Highlands bred Lunarcam has now won four times, with the gelding having finished second and fourth in his two previous starts prior to Wednesday’s win.
