Klawervlei Stud’s triple G1 winning stallion CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) came up with his second two-year-old winner, from a handful of runners this season, when his daughter WHISTLE THE TUNE made a winning debut at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.

Trained by Glen Kotzen, Whistle The Tune was quickly away in Saturday’s World Sports Betting Supports The Equine Trust Maiden Juvenile Plate (Fillies) (800m), and, under Raymond Danielson, stayed on nicely to score by three-parts of a length.

Bred by Oldlands Stud, Whistle The Tune races for Gavin and Shireen Almanza in partnership with Sandy and Eugene Arundel.

Whistle The Tune joins impressive debut winner IBHELE as early two-year-old winners for the G1 winning two-year-old Captain Of All this season.

Captain Of All is no stranger to siring high-class two-year-olds, with his past notable juveniles including G2 Pospack SA Fillies Nursery winner SPRINGS OF CARMEL, G2 WSB SA Nursery runner up JERUSALEMA RAIN, G2 World Pool With Gold Circle Debutante second CAPTAIN’S CHRISTY, and the stakes winning two-year-olds CAPTAIN ANNE BONNY and WHAT YOU ARE.

The champion son of Captain Al has six lots on offer at the 2024 Cape Racing Premier Yearling Sale Powered By Tattersalls.
