Klawervlei Stud’s four time G1 winning stallion TWICE OVER (Observatory) looks to have sired an outstanding galloper in the form of SEE IT AGAIN.

The latter downed an outstanding field when victorious in the G2 World Sports Betting Green Point Stakes (1600m), run at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.

Winner of both the G1 Jonsson Workwear Cape Derby and G1 Daily News 2000 as a three-year-old, the Michael Roberts trained See It Again stamped himself as the horse to beat in the 2024 WSB G1 Cape Town Met with a stirring win in Saturday’s R600 000 Kenilworth feature.

Under Piere Strydom, the chestnut colt powered home to land the Green Point Stakes by a length and three-quarters, with See It Again’s beaten rivals headed by multiple G1 winning champion CHARLES DICKENS (Trippi) and South Africa’s reigning Horse Of The Year PRINCESS CALLA (Flower Alley).

Bred by Drakenstein Stud, and owned by Nick Jonsson, See It Again, runner up in both the G1 Hollywoodbets Durban July and G1 HKJC Champions Challenge last season, has now won six of 13 starts for earnings of R3 661 875.

The colt is a three-parts brother to dual Vodacom Durban July winner DO IT AGAIN (Twice Over).

His sire Twice Over is having a fine season in 2023-2024 and has had, at the time of writing, more stakes winners in South Africa this season than the likes of GIMMETHEGREENLIGHT (More Than Ready), VERCINGETORIX (Silvano), and WHAT A WINTER (Western Winter).
