Klawervlei Stud’s resident stallion TWICE OVER (Observatory) looks set for another good season in 2024-2025, and one of his very best sons won a good race at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday.
Multiple graded stakes winner SEE IT AGAIN (Twice Over), a three-parts brother to the Twice Over sired champion DO IT AGAIN, got back on the winning track when he scored convincingly on Sunday.
Under Rachel Venniker, the Michael Roberts trained five-year-old showed the benefit of a recent gelding operation with a fluent win in Sunday’s Wakefields Estate Agents Pinnacle Stakes (1600m).
The race panned out as expected with See It Again home comfortably under Rachel Venniker with Equus Champion ROYAL VICTORY (Pathfork) close on his heels with the balance well beaten.
Owned by Nick Jonsson, See It Again is likely to be aimed at this month’s R6 000 000 G1 Betway Summer Cup.
Now a seven time winner, from 19 starts, the Drakenstein Stud bred See It Again took his earnings to R4,644,375 with his win on Sunday.
The top-class galloper has three graded wins to his name including the 2023 G1 SplashOut Cape Derby and 2023 G1 Daily News 2000, and he looks unlikely to stop here!
See It Again’s four time G1 winning sire Twice Over has had a good run of late, with his recent winners including Betway Wedgewood Handicap winner OFFICIAL SECRET and possible Grand Heritage starter CHAMPION WARRIOR.
