Klawervlei Stud’s triple G1 winning stallion CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) has been in good form of late, and the former Equus Champion was at it again when he came up with two notable winners at Turffontein on Thursday.

His two-year-old daughter KISS ME CAPTAIN made the perfect start to her career when she made a winning debut on Thursday. Trained by Michael and Adam Azzie, the filly stormed home to claim the TAB 4Racing App Maiden Plate (1160m) by an emphatic two lengths. Bred by her part-owner Mr Soal, Kiss Me Captain is the fifth two-year-old winner this season for Captain Of All, himself a G1 winner at two.

Four-year-old filly DANCING ARABIAN provided Captain Of All with his second success on Thursday when she ran out a ready winner of the fifth race, the Racehorse Owners Association FM 80 Handicap (F&M) (1600m). Under Raymond Danielson, the Roy Magner-trained filly stayed on too strongly for her rivals to win going away by a length and three-quarters. Owned by Mrs Callaghan, Dancing Arabian, who was bred by Mr Lopez, has now won four times.

South Africa’s Leading First Season Sire of 2018-2019, Captain Of All has six lots on offer at the upcoming August Two Year Old Sale.

Thursday was a memorable day for Klawervlei sires with WILLIAM LONGSWORD’s Listed Secretariat Stakes winning daughter BON VIVANT winning the seventh race on the card, and POMODORO filly GOLDEN ASPEN victorious in the eighth and final race at the Vaal.
