EXCITING NEW SPONSOR FOR KLAWERVLEI FARM SALE RACE

The Klawervlei Stud bred KOMMETDIEDING (Elusive Fort) stamped himself a two-year-old to watch when he scored an impressive debut win in Tuesday's R225 000 Klawervlei Farm Sale Graduate Race (1200m) at Kenilworth.

Trained by Harold Crawford and Michelle Rix, the promising colt showed his class when making a winning debut in the Farm Sale race to record a facile two length win.

Out of the talented Gardenia Handicap runner up ADORABLE (a daughter of Klawervlei's much missed champion sire CAPTAIN AL), Kommetdieding was ridden to victory by Sihle Cele.

He cost owner Ashwin Reynolds a mere R55 000 when bought at the 2019 Klawervlei Farm Sale, and Kommetdieding, who has already returned a handsome profit on his purchase price, looks set to prove yet another high-class Farm Sale graduate.

In other exciting news, Klawervlei are delighted to announce they have gained a fantastic new sponsor for next year's race, with GG Gaming set to come on board in 2021. A R1000 buy in levy will apply for buyers, with the total stake (a minimum of R150 000) dependent of the number of "buy ins".

This is an exciting prospect for the future, and Klawervlei would like to welcome GG Gaming to what has become a highlight on the Cape racing calender.

This year's Klawervlei Farm Sale officially starts at 18:00 on Sunday 21st, but online bidding is already open and interested buyers can access the bidding process at www.gavelhouse.com
