Klawervlei Stud’s four time G1 winning sire, and European champion, TWICE OVER (Observatory) enjoyed more big race success at Kenilworth on Saturday when his son INVIDIA won The CTS 1200 (1200m).

Bred by Klawervlei Stud, the Ashley Fortune trained three-year-old showed his class by romping home to a clear-cut three parts of a length win in Saturday’s R5 000 000 race under bang inform jockey Aldo Domeyer.

The CTS 1200 was a great result for Klawervlei sires, with resident sire CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) responsible for runner up Cartel Captain, with the latter picking R1 000 000 for his runner up effort.

Invidia, a R180 000 buy from the 2018 CTS Ready To Run Sale, took his earnings to R3 041 500 with his big win on Saturday.

The gelding, who races for owner Mario Ferreira, had shown promise last season when finishing third, to G1 winner EDEN ROC (Var), in the G2 Durban Golden Horseshoe.

The progressive Invidia has now won three of only ten starts and he looks another exciting prospect for Twice Over.

The latter made a superb start to his stud career, with his first crop headed by reigning Horse Of The Year, and dual G1 Vodacom Durban July winner, DO IT AGAIN, multiple graded stakes winner DOUBLEMINT and G1 winning two-year-old SAND AND SEA.

Twice Over made a splash earlier this year at the Cape Premier Yearling Sale where colts by him made R775 000 and R725 000 respectively.
