POMODORO COLT MAKES A WINNING DEBUT

Klawervlei Stud's inform July winning stallion POMODORO (Jet Master) has had a tremendous season in 2019-2020 and he came up with another eye catching winner at Durbanville on Wednesday.

The Dean Kannemeyer trained Pomodoro colt RUSSIAN ROCK powered home from well off the pace to make an impressive winning debut over 1250m.

Despite having a wide draw to overcome on debut, the Klawervlei Stud bred Russian Rock proved too strong for his rivals and flew up late, under jockey Devin Ashby, to win going away by a short-head.
