Klawervlei Stud's four time G1 winning sire TWICE OVER (Observatory) received further recognition on Friday evening, when his magnificent son DO IT AGAIN was honoured as KZN's Horse Of The Season at the KZN Racing Awards ceremony.

The Justin Snaith trained star had an exceptional season in KZN last season, with Do It Again victorious in both KZN outings in 2019-his wins including a repeat score in the G1 Vodacom Durban July as well as a win over a star studded field in the G1 Rising Sun Gold Challenge.

Do It Again, who claimed four awards, including the title of South Africa's Horse Of The Year, at the recent Equus Awards, has dominated local awards ceremonies in 2019.

South Africa's Equus Champion 3YO Colt/Gelding in 2017-2018, the Northfields Stud bred champion also picked up the award for both Cape Breeders and Cape Racing's Horse Of The Year for 2018-2019.

Do It Again, who races for Nick Jonsson, Bernard Kantor and the estate of the late Jack Mitchell, has earnings of in excess of R8.4 million, with his seven wins including four G1 triumphs.

He is one of several standout performers to have emerged from Twice Over's first crops with others including G1 Tsogo Sun Gold Medallion winner SAND AND SEA and multiple graded stakes winner DOUBLEMINT.

A dual winner of the G1 Champion Stakes, and from the immediate family of Breeders Cup hope YOSHIDA, Twice Over is also sire of promising 3yos DOUBLE ALLIANCE and INVIDIA.
