UNCLE MO SONS MAKE THEIR MARK

Ashford Stud's top-class sire UNCLE MO (Indian Charlie), whose high-class son ROYAL MO stands at Klawervlei Stud, is showing considerable promise as a sire of sires.

His graded stakes winning sons LAOBAN and OUTWORK both recently recorded their first winners, while another son, California Chrome Stakes winner, UNCLE LINO has had just four runners thus far, but has already supplied two winners.

Yet another son of Uncle Mo, former G1 Kentucky Derby winner and champion, NYQUIST, got off the mark as a sire when his two-year-old daughter DREAM QUIST scored a three and three quarter length win at Ellis Park on Sunday.

A champion at two, and winner of both the G1 Xpressbet.com Florida Derby and G1 Kentucky Derby at three, Nyquist retired to stud having earned more than $5 000 000.
