His gelded three-year-old son BOB’S YOUR UNCLE caught the eye when he shed his maiden, at just the second time of asking, on Saturday.
Trained by Lucky Houdalakis, Bob’s Your Uncle had finished seventh over 1200m at his only other appearance, but improved on that with a game win at Turffontein.
Under Chase Maujean, the son of Royal Mo fought on doggedly to claim the second race on the card by a short-head.
