Klawervlei Stud’s triple G1 winning stallion CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) has had a good few days, and the former sprint champion struck again when his talented son JERUSALEMA RAIN won at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Tuesday afternoon.

Under a great ride from Gareth Wright, three-year-old Jerusalema Rain bounced back to winning ways when running out a courageous winner of Tuesday’s #destinationcaperacing Class (1200m), while accounting for some hard-knocking sorts.

One of four winners on Tuesday for his trainer Candice Bass-Robinson, Jerusalema Rain was always up with the pace, and, when challenged close home, fought back courageously to score by a long head.

A blinker strike appeared to help Jerusalema Rain, with the latter having finished second in last season’s G2 World Sports Betting SA Nursery and also defeated champion SANDRINGHAM SUMMIT when the pair met in a juvenile plate over 1160 metres.

Bred by Keivan Stud, Jerusalema Rain races for Gavin Zurnamer.

His sire Captain Of All also enjoyed success at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday when his son CAPTAIN BOMBSHELL won the Marula Sprint.

Captain Of All, whose sire CAPTAIN AL (Al Mufti) appears close up in the pedigrees of five of the eight winners at Kenilworth on Tuesday, has five lots on offer at this month’s Cape Yearling Sale.
