Klawervlei Stud’s exciting young stallion KOMMETDIEDING (Elusive Fort) hails from an exceptional family, and his family came to the fore yet again when his relative QUASIFORSURE (Quasillo) ran out an impressive winner at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday.
A chance ride for Serino Moodley, the classy six-year-old showed his class when blowing away a smart field to win Sunday’s Mbet.co.za Pinnacle Stakes (1200m) as he liked.
Racing from off the pace, Quasiforsure unleashed a sizzling turn of foot which saw the gelding storm home to win by nearly two and two quarter lengths.
Now a seven time winner, the Boland Stud bred Quasiforsure took his earnings to over R600 000 with his impressive latest victory.
His trainer Peter Muscutt was quick to praise Quasiforsure after Sunday’s win, saying that “He is a top-horse and a pleasure to have around”.
Quasiforsure, whose three-parts sister KEY ELEMENT (Querari) contested Saturday’s G2 Betway Joburg Spring F and M Challenge, is now headed for a tilt at the G2 Charity Mile in Gauteng. The gelding’s third dam RIDING LIGHT (Top Ville) also ranks as the third dam of G1 Vodacom Durban July/G1 World Sports Betting Cape Town Met winner KOMMETDIEDING.
This top-class family has yielded a torrent of stakes winners all over the world, with Kommetdieding’s numerous high-class relatives including 2024 G1 Qatar Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby) winner LOOK DE VEGA (Lope De Vega), this year’s G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen victor TUZ (Oxbow), and this season’s exciting two-year-old filly FAIRY GODMOTHER (Night Of Thunder). The latter won two of her first three starts including the G3 Coolmore Stud Irish EBF Fillies Sprint Stakes and G3 Albany Stakes.
Kommetdieding’s eagerly awaited first foals are arriving to rave reviews!
