Klawervlei Stud’s triple G1 winning stallion CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) has been in good form of late, and the champion sprinter was at it again when Captain Of All came with two winners at Fairview on Monday. Captain Of All went close to having a treble on Monday with the stallion’s daughter COLORAMA finishing a close up second in the eighth and final race.

Captain Of All struck first on Monday with his son ‘O CAPTAIN winning the second race on the eight race card.

Under Devin Ashby, three-year-old ‘O Captain stormed home to claim the Racehorse Owners Association Conditional Maiden (1600m) on Monday by a length and a quarter.

The Hemel ‘N Aarde Stud bred gelding is trained by Jacques Strydom, who also part-owns ‘O Captain. Monday’s winner races for Money Talks Syndicate in partnership with Mrs M O Strydom & Mr J V A Strydom.

Captain Of All is also sire of CAPTAINS WALK, who was victorious in Monday’s sixth race for Kelly Mitchley and Nirvan Nastili. Backed in significantly before the race, the five-year-old hit the front 150m from home and stayed on nicely to salute by a length and a quarter.

Bred by Schalkie van der Walt, Captains Walk, who races for Mr Des Govender, is bred on the same Captain Of All/Dynasty cross as G2 winner SPRINGS OF CARMEL.

Champion Captain Of All is also the sire of eye catching recent feature race winners MEU CAPITANO (Winter Sprint) and WHISTLE THE TUNE (Listed Hollywoodbets Super League Devon Air Stakes).

The son of Klawervlei’s legendary late sire Captain Al has seven lots on offer at the KZN Yearling Sale.
