An impressive winner of the Listed Secretariat Stakes last time out, PAISLEY PARK (Gimmethegreenlight) stamped himself a three-year-old to watch when scoring a courageous win over 1400m at the Vaal.
The Sean Tarry trained gelding dug down deep, under a strong ride from Lyle Hewitson, to get up close home and score a long head win over fellow promising 3yo VARS VICKY (Var).
Owned by Sean Tarry Racing (Pty) Ltd, in partnership with Cliff Simaan, Paisley Park was a R200 000 buy from the 2019 Klawervlei Farm Sale.
The unbeaten three-year-old is out of EVA TIBBS (Casey Tibbs), a five time winning half-sister to G3 Lonsdale Stirrup Cup winner APPLE-A-DAY (Modern Day), and this is also the family of July winner, and Klawervlei’s successful sire, POMODORO (Jet Master).
