Klawervlei Stud’s four-time G1 winning stallion TWICE OVER (Observatory) enjoyed a big payday at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.
His top-class son See It Again claimed the R5 000 000 G1 World Sports Betting Cape Town Met to take his tally of G1 wins to three.

In the process, the six-year-old gelding became Twice Over’s second Met winner, with the stallion’s son DOUBLE SUPERLATIVE having won that race back in 2024.

A fourth consecutive World Sports Betting Cape Town Met winner for Justin Snaith and Nick Jonsson, See It Again provided his jockey Andrew Fortune with a fourth win on Saturday’s card.

The Twice Over gelding stormed home down the centre of the track to get up close home and claim Saturday’s first place prize of R2 968 750 by three-parts of a length.

Bred by Drakenstein Stud, See It Again had previously enjoyed top-level success when victorious in both the 2023 G1 SplashOut Cape Derby and 2023 G1 Daily News 2000.
Now an eight time winner from 29 starts, the son of Twice Over has earned R8 675 125.

His four time G1 winning sire Twice Over, whose son LAST ONE STANDING, made it five wins from his last six starts when victorious on Friday, has eight lots on offer at the Premier Yearling Sale.
