Klawervlei Stud’s well performed resident sire ROYAL MO (Uncle Mo) came up with a very impressive two-year-old winner when his daughter SWEETIE DARLING made a winning debut at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Sunday.
Trained by Glen Kotzen, Sweetie Darling made a big impression when she won the first two-year-old race run in the Cape in the 2023-2024 season.
Owned by Sandy and Eugene Arundel, Sweetie Darling was bred by Patricia Devine Investments.
Winner of the G3 Robert B. Lewis Stakes at three, Royal Mo shares his outstanding sire Uncle Mo with current US sire sensation NYQUIST. The latter, himself a Kentucky Derby winning champion, has had a sensational year in 2023, with Nyquist’s flagbearers this year headed by G1 winners RANDOMIZED and SLOW DOWN ANDY, star filly XIGERA and G2 Queen Mary Stakes winner CRIMSON ADVOCATE.
