CAPTAIN OF ALL (Captain Al) has been enjoying a good run of success this week.
His son CHARIOT OF FIRE became Captain Of All’s third winner in three days when romping home to victory at the Vaal on Thursday.
The Lucky Houdalakis trained three-year-old was always prominent in Tuesday’s Tab4racing  Maiden Plate (1500m) and he stayed on well to win by a length and a quarter. Bred by Klawervlei, Chariot Of Fire races for Jan and Linda Stekhoven. Third on debut, the lightly raced Chariot Of Fire was making just his fourth start on Thursday.

His sire Captain Of All had earlier enjoyed success on both Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday, his daughter MAVERICK QUEEN won the first race at the Vaal, and the next day, another Captain Of All filly, SHESAROCKET, captured the first race run at Hollywoodbets Greyville. The Sean Tarry trained Maverick Queen caught the eye when she romped home to break her maiden by over two and a half lengths, with the three-year-old making just her third start on Tuesday. Bred by La Berg Stud, the daughter of Captain Of All races for     Haraka Bloodstock, G Ambrose,S Deodutt ,S Pieters,C Spalding,D & M Slade,S & T Cawdry,B Taylor, D Priest, A Doyle,L Du Plessis & B Holland.

Her paternal half-sister Shesarocket gave Captain Of All another winner when she ran out a near one and a half length winner of Wednesday’s Gallop TV Youtube Channel Open Maiden (F&M) for Stuart Ferrie and Sean Veale. Bred by the Syrilla Stud, the filly is owned by Messrs P M Chetty & R Chetty.
