Klawervlei Stud’s four time G1 winning stallion TWICE OVER (Observatory) hails from the same family as one of the most exciting three-year-olds in Britain.
COSMIC YEAR (Kingman), whose G1 winning dam PASSAGE OF TIME (Dansili) is closely related to Twice Over, made it two wins from two starts when he won at Kempton on Wednesday.

A facile winner of his only previous start, the regally bred Cosmic Year turned Wednesday’s Unibet Novice Stakes into a one-horse race.
Under Oisin Murphy, the colt romped home to win as he liked by five lengths. Following the win, Cosmic Year was cut to 6-1 for the 2000 Guineas.

His trainer Harry Charlton said after the win, “It was as good as we could have hoped for. The French and Irish Guineas are other options as well as different routes into Royal Ascot.”

A half-brother to four time group winning sire TIME TEST (Dubawi), Cosmic Year is out of G1 Criterium de Saint-Cloud winner Passage Of Time, whose granddam QUANDARY (Blushing Groom) also ranks as the granddam of Twice Over.
